50+ Group

Mondays, 1- 7pm

The Deaf Community's 50+ group consists of mainly Profoundly Deaf people. It is considered to be one of the largest groups in the region. Various activities happen on Monday afternoons. One of the main and most popular is Bingo.  This is also held once a month on Saturday nights at the centre, as well as ‘Grand Bingo’, please see the calendar for dates of these events.  People come from all over Greater Manchester e.g. Salford, Eccles, Bolton, Ashton, Stalybridge, Rochdale, Stockport, and many more.

The group is mainly for the over 50's, but everyone is welcome. There are planned days trips to the theatre and local attractions decided by the group.  There is an annual trip abroad with the interpreters provided
