A note from the Trustees of Manchester Deaf Centre

15th January 2022

Hello all,

The Trustees of the Manchester Deaf Centre (MDC) would like to keep you updated on our plans over the next few months. We want to ensure that we are providing you with the right level of information. One of our main current tasks is ensuring that we have a plan that provides the services you need as effectively and efficiently as possible. We want to be able to show that we are doing all we can to not only maintain our services, but also looking to improve over the coming years.

We will look to introduce new activities and projects in the future. For now, we are looking to ensure we can complete our current projects and also to review the activities we currently provide to ensure they are still needed. We are also reviewing the use of our building to consider if it still meets our service user’s needs, in the best way possible for now and in the future.

We will not be making any decisions without talking to the various groups and service users who use our services and building first. An Information Event will be held in the next 8–12 weeks to talk through our proposals, and we look forward to talking to you all over the coming months as we get your views on MDC. As Trustees we take our responsibilities seriously and will continue to deliver to the best of our abilities.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
