“What D/deaf people want” research – next steps

You may remember that in 2022 MDC joined together with Bolton Deaf Society and Walthew House in Stockport to fund a piece of research, called 'What D/deaf People Want'. The aim of the research was to check with D/deaf people across Greater Manchester about what their updated priorities were


100% success at Level 3 BSL

We’d like to say a huge congratulations to all 12 of our Level 3 BSL course students. We recently learned that all the students passed their exams and achieved their Signature Level 3 qualification. MDC started to offer Level 3 courses in 2022, and this was our first cohort of students to complete


MDC Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation project

Our new DASA (Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation) project is underway. Our project staff Michelle Reilly and Leah Witton are now providing the following: 1. Advice, advocacy and support to D/deaf individuals who are experiencing domestic abuse, including assistance in accessing safe accommodation.


Wellbeing Coffee Mornings move to Thursdays
