Deaf Accessible GMCVO Networking Event for Researchers Fri 2nd July

Deafblind Awareness Week, 27 June – 3 July 2021

Our Salford Deaf Advocacy Service team – Deb, Danielle and Toni – recently completed their Deafblind Awareness Level 1 qualification and passed with flying colours. Danielle According to the deafblind charity Sense there are currently approximately 390,000 people in the UK who are deafblind.


Meet Lauren Feeney, our new ‘I Can’ Project Co-ordinator and Youth Engagement officer

Tony Kingswood reaches 21 years’ service for MDC

Tony Kingswood is our longest serving staff member, and this year he has worked for MDC for a whopping 21 years! Tony is our cleaner and he always makes sure the Deaf Centre looks great. He works so hard and is always buzzing around the place keeping the centre spotless. He is always smiling
