Landmark walk

A huge thank you to Karen Slinger and Michelle Reilly who raised over £250 for Manchester Deaf Centre by their sponsored walk which took place on 23 September. 

The walk was 15 miles long. It started from Manchester Deaf Centre and did a huge loop around the city centre via several famous landmarks, including Manchester City Football Ground, The National Football Museum, Media City in Salford, and Manchester United Football Ground.

The walk had been planned for an earlier date but had to be postponed because of a heat wave. Fortunately, on the 23rd September the weather was perfect, and Karen and Michelle thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They walked for 6 hours in total.
