Reclaim brings youth leadership to the MDC building

Manchester Deaf Centre extends a huge warm welcome to the staff of Reclaim who have recently moved into our building.

Reclaim is a really exciting youth leadership organisation. The team works with young people from working class backgrounds, empowering them to create and lead campaigns and influence social change. We are looking forward to possibilities for MDC youth groups and Reclaim working together in future months. The Reclaim team office is upstairs and to the left of our deaf centre youth room. The staff have asked for BSL classes and deaf awareness training and are really looking forward to meeting deaf centre staff and service users. If you bump into them over the next few months do say hello; they will be sure to want to practice their new basic BSL skills!
