Manchester Deaf Ball fundraising success for MDC

The Manchester Deaf Ball 2021 raised a whopping £4,500 for MDC

£4,500 was raised at the Manchester 2021 Christmas Ball. The ball was held at Lancashire County Cricket Club in November and was attended by 400 guests. The guests came from all over the UK to meet old and new friends in the first major social gathering since Covid19 started.

The guests were all treated to a delicious 3-course meal and were entertained by world famous Deaf comedian, John Smith. The night before, we welcomed Deaf people to Manchester with workshops at Manchester Deaf Centre where we served cheese and wine, before going to 53two for a specially discounted bar.

The organisers are already looking ahead to the next Ball in 2022, for another fantastic weekend. 

The Manchester Deaf Ball was organised by our very own Michelle (Riley’s Bar /Events) and Christine (trustee board).
