April Walking Wednesdays

D​ue to the Easter school holidays and the half-term break, we're going to be pausing Walking Wednesdays through April. D​on't worry though, we'll be restarting in May, ready to welcome you to a new season of Spring w​alking activities!


Volunteer BSL subtitler wanted

9 February 2024

MDC is currently looking for volunteers to help with subtitling videos for our website, newsletter and social media pages. The role requires strong BSL receptive skills (minimum Level 4, or equivalent language skills) and fluent written English. Training can be given in using digital subtitling


New children and young people group times

Free Football Taster Day for 12–16-year-olds, 21st February 2024

Exciting news! We have organised a free football taster day for the youth group for 12–16’s. Skills will be taught by a professional coach from Manchester Football Association. It will be outdoors on an Astroturf pitch. It’s going to be a lot of fun and there will definitely be some competition


Wednesday Walking Group

9 February 2024

Our friendly walking group meets every week on Wednesday. It’s a great time of year to be getting outdoors as the signs of spring are starting to appear. Every week we meet at Manchester Deaf Centre at 10am and finish about 2pm. We provide lunch up to the value of £5 per person. The walking group
