Aisha Ahmed

Business Administrator

I've always been passionate about helping others and I was delighted to get accepted to work at the Manchester Deaf Centre doing a level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.

Prior to my working at the MDC, I was working as a self-employed letting agent, where I was mainly responsible for the administrative side of the business. This apprenticeship will provide me with the perfect opportunity to advance/build my skills further whilst working and it will allow me to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

In 2015 I gained my Teaching Assistant qualification. At the MDC I will have the opportunity to learn British Sign Language, this is something I have always wanted to do. Learning this extra language will give me the opportunity to work with and support children/adults who are Deaf and at the same time I will be able to improve
the Deaf awareness of those around me.

I am excited to be part of the brilliant team at MDC and look forward to working with all members of the organisation.

In my free time, I love to read, go for walks in the countryside. I love to cook and create new dishes for my family and friends.
